Do you charge for estimates?

We do not charge for estimates, however there may be a small fee for design services if applicable. Typically we start with a preliminary estimate to make sure the project cost is within budget, and then nail down a more detailed/finalized estimate from there.

Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?

Yes, absolutely. You should never use a contractor who is not fully licensed, bonded or insured. Our Oregon CCB license number is 233723 and our Oregon BCD Plumbing license number is PB2996.

What areas do you service?

We are based out of McMinnville, OR and have a general service radius of approximately 1 hour with some exceptions. Our most common areas served include:

- McMinnville
- Newberg
- Sherwood
- Monmouth
- Salem
- & surrounding smaller cities.

We are also serving coastal customers in:

- Otis
- Neotsu
- Lincoln City
- Pacific City

Do you offer emergency and/or weekend services?

Unfortunately we do not currently offer dedicated emergency/weekend service. Our regular office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

However, we try our best to accommodate those who are in need of quick service and can often times get a technician out same-day or within 1-2 business days. How quickly we can get to your project depends on the scope of work and your location.

We're looking for the cheapest contractor, is that you?

While we feel that our pricing is very reasonable for the service we offer and quality of work performed, we are not considered a "cheap" contractor.

Our pricing reflects our commitment to competitive wages for technicians and excellent service for our customers.

If you are looking for the lowest bidder, you may want to look elsewhere. If you are looking for quality work & service at a fair price, we are the contractor for you.

With over 40% of our work coming from repeat customers or direct recommendations, it's safe to say you can trust us to get the job done.

How much do you charge per hour?

Majority of our projects are quoted on a flat-rate basis. This means that:

1. A customer submits a work request.

2. We evaluate the job either via pictures or an on-site consultation.

3. A quote is written detailing the entire scope of work and all associated costs, including labor and materials.

This is considered a "flat-rate" quote and the price is guaranteed for the agreed upon scope of work, regardless of how long it takes. This allows for customers to know exactly what something is going to cost without any surprises.

However, we also offer T&M (time and materials) agreements. In this situation, a customer submits a work request and we dispatch a technician to perform the work. The customer is then charged on a hourly basis plus any associated material costs.

Hourly rates can vary significantly depending on the exact service. Ranging from $75 to $100/hr per technician.

Can your handymen perform Electrical & Plumbing work?

No, our handymen are not individually licensed as Journeyman Plumbers or Electricians as required by the state of Oregon to perform those trade related tasks.

However, our in-house plumbers can assist with your plumbing-related tasks and our trusted sub-contractors can assist with Electrical.

Do you do small jobs too or only larger projects?

Yes, absolutely. We are happy to assist with everyday "honey-do" list type of projects.

We'll do everything from swapping out a door knob to remodeling your entire house should you need it.

We do have a $150 minimum service charge for the smallest of projects which includes dispatch and up to one hour of labor (materials not included).

How long will it take to get an estimate?

We do our best to expedite the estimating process so you have the information you need to make an informed and timely decision.

The total time for estimate completion can vary significantly depending on the size and scope of your project. Having said that, as a general rule of thumb most estimates should be completed within 1-2 days at most for smaller projects and within 1 week for larger projects.

If you've submitted a request and haven't heard back, feel free to reach out. It is not uncommon for our office to be overloaded with inquiries during significant weather events, changing of seasons, & more.

How long does a typical remodel take?

The duration of your remodel project can vary significantly based on the final agreed upon scope of work. However, as a general rule of thumb:

- Bathroom Remodels (3-6 weeks)
- Kitchen Remodels (4-8 weeks)

The above-described timelines would be for full-scale remodel. Lighter cosmetic renovations can be much quicker.
